A note
from the Director of NICD-
"I
had the fortune of spending a week in Maui with Dick B., and later
in the year at a 3 day conference on the 12-Step Program in Tampa,
FL. The week in Maui was a wonderful time- studying the Bible with
Dick's son Rev. Ken, discovering the roots of A.A., the ocean, beach, the sun, the great food,
sights to see, and a week with Dick B. I found Dick to be passionate
about his research into the spiritual roots of the Twelve Step
Program. I will forever hold dear that time in my life!!! The trip
to Tampa, Fl. was amazing. I met and had good long talks with many
who were passionate about helping others. One person in particular
was Steve. He was sponsored by Clarence Snyder, who was sponsored by
the king of sponsors, Dr. Bob. I learned so much that few days and
formed a friendship with Steve. Steve runs retreats called
"Came To Believe." If you are interested in these, please
go to http://cametobelieve.org/
. Also, if you want to learn how the program worked, back when they
had a 75% to 93% success rate, please consider purchasing Dicks
books at http://dickb.com/index.shtml
Onward and Upward... May our heavenly Father bless you "Real
Good."
